Last year, I spent my 26th in Cebu with
family. This year, it's what you call an "out of the country"
celebration since I'm here in Singapore doing my usual work routine. This is the first time I spent my birthday away from them but never felt alone with the company of friends and the warm greetings sent across the miles.

Every year is a gift, full of surprises and all things new, all these I look forward to as I turn a year older. Last year, I had a few birthday wishes on the list. This year, I couldn't ask for more...thank You!!! ^^

A Mediterranean restaurant located at the basement of Orchard Central. They serve Spanish, Morrocan, Turkish, French, Italian and Greek dishes at a reasonable price. Like Marche, a card will be given at the entrance and is used to order the food.
Medzs offer a wide array of international beverages (beers and wine) and a juice bar for fruit and vegetable blends.
"MEDZS is a slice of the Mediterranean brought to life & you will instantly feel like you are being transported to the Mediterranean region, infuse your sensory palate with the exotic food culture, sights & senses of the Mediterranean." (from Singapore Supermarket Recipes)

Johor Bahru is the capital city of Johor in southern Malaysia. Johor Bahru is the southernmost city of the Eurasian mainland. Pasir Pelangi, the royal village, is located within Johor Bahru. With a population of approximately 900,000 in the city, and nearly 2 million in the metropolitan area, Johor Bahru is the second largest urban area in Malaysia, after the national capital, Kuala Lumpur, and its associated Klang Valley region.
Going to JB is an hour (plus few minutes including 2 immigration stop-over) bus ride from Singapore (Kranji Station). We crossed the pedestrian bridge from JB Sentral to City Square Mall to have lunch at Sizzling Stone Grill. At around 1pm, we went back to CIQ 2nd link to catch a bus to JPO (Johor Premium Outlet). The travel time to JPO from JB Sentral is approximately 1hr.

We took the 5:30pm bus back to JB Sentral after few hours of window shopping. Dinner at Nando's ended the JB trip and a little grocery shopping for the friends.
